David Anderson


EARLVILLE – David L. Anderson, 46, of Earlville, passed away unexpectedly on July 2, 2013 from natural causes. David had lived in the South New Berlin and Norwcih area most of his life.
Born September 26, 1966, he was the youngest son of the late Richard and Joyce (Currie) Anderson. He grew up on the family farm, and survived a traumatic farm accident in his youth. He graduated from South New Berlin High School in 1986 and attended SUNY Morrisville. He held many jobs over the years, most often as a skilled welder. He was a kind, gentle, caring man who loved the outdoors, his family and his dog.
David is survived by his sisters, Sandra Gregory and husband Herb of Homer, Cynthia Anderson and her companion Alan Sickles of Cortland, and his brother, Daniel Anderson and his wife Donna of South New Berlin. Also survivng are his children, Jordan Wood of Whitney Point and Brooke Anderson of Norwich, his stepdaughter, Sarah Wilson of NC, his companion, Cathie Johnson of Earlville and his beloved dog Saber. Many friends and relatives also survive.
David was predeceased by his parents, grandparents and many close friends.
A funeral service for David will be held at 7 p.m. on July 6 from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeremy Stopford, Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Earlville, will officiate. Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home from 6 to 7 p.m. on July 6.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to defray his daughter Brooke’s trip to France as a Rotary Exchange Student. He was very proud of her and very glad she had this opportunity. Please make checks payable to Norwich Rotary Youth Exchange, PO Box 681, Norwich, NY 13815 with a notation that it’s for Brooke Anderson.
