NORTH FENTON – Robert J. Lashway, 46 of North Fenton, formerly of Oxford, passed away following an accident on June 23, 2013. He was born on September 16, 1966 in Norwich a son of Herb and Theresa (Mayotte) Lashway.
Besides his parents, Herb and Theresa, he is survived by his son, Nathan Lashway of Plymouth; his brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Donna Lashway of Oxford, and Paul and Lisa Lashway of Norwich; his grandmother, Mary Lashway of Oxford, and his nieces and nephew, Melissa, Melanie and Tye. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Bob was a graduate of Oxford Academy and Central High School. He has worked in construction most of his life, most recently for Superior Wireless of Norwich. He loved fast cars and fast motorcycles.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on June 29, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in Oxford, with Rev. Gerard Lupa celebrating the Mass. Interment will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
