NORWICH – Michael J. Darling, 59, of Champaign, Illinois and formerly of Norwich, passed away May 24, 2013 at the Heartland Nursing Home in Paxton, Illinois.
Michael was born to Kenneth and Wanda (McKeon) Darling on April 15, 1954 at Chanute Air Force Base in Rantoul, Illinois. He came to Norwich as an infant. He attended Norwich schools, graduating with the class of 1972. Mike also graduated from Parkland College and the University of Illinois with many degrees.
Michael is survived by his mother, Wanda, and two brothers, Patrick (Lisa) of Norwich and Timothy (Sara) of Mt. Top, Pennsylvania; and three nieces, Kaitlyn, Genevieve and Kendra; and two nephews, Bradley and Tyler; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Kenneth, and brother, Jerry.
Mike worked for Victory Markets, Alloy Casting and Parkland College.
