Clifford Frink


HAMILTON – Clifford “Skip” H. Frink, 81, of Craine Lake Road in Hamilton, passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
He was born January 5, 1932 in Norwich, NY. A graduate of Norwich High School, he served in the U.S. Air Force. Cliff married Joyce Margaret Izard, of Earlville, on July 21, 1956. They were together for 56 years until his passing.
Over his many years, Cliff worked for Wilson Meat Packing in Utica, Oriskany Central School, and for many years he ran his own barbershop, “The Country Barber,” out of his home in Whitesboro. He enjoyed woodworking and birdwatching.
Cliff was a member of United Church of Christ in Sherburne, NY.
Surviving are his wife, Joyce; his children, Phillip (Karyn) of Cumberland, RI, John (Lori) of Topanga, CA, Mary (Robert) of Richmond, VA, Robert (Jackie) of Pascoag, RI, Clifford of Phoenix, NY and nine grandchildren. He had a brother, Harold (deceased) and leaves behind two sisters, Ruth and Beverly, as well as many extended family and friends.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 6 at the United Church of Christ in Sherburne, with funeral services to follow directly after.
He will be interred at West Hill Cemetery in Sherburne, NY
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Cliff’s memory may be made to the United Church of Christ in Sherburne.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville, NY.
