SYRACUSE – Bryan C. Buckingham, 39, of Syracuse, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2013 unexpectedly at his home.
He was born on January 5, 1974 in Norwich, a son of Elizabeth A. Sweet and Harvey J. Buckingham. He graduated from Sherburne-Earlville High School in 1992 and attended Oneonta State College for four years. Bryan was a Class A CDL truck driver for Haun Welding in Syracuse. More importantly, he was a dedicated husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. His smile was contagious, love of sports enormous, and he possessed a kindness that knew no boundaries.
Surviving are his wife, Barbi; daughter, Bryanna; grandmother, Cora Tiffany; his parents, William and Elizabeth Sweet of Sherburne; Harvey and Becky Buckingham of AL; Buster and Helen Fuller of DeRuyter; sister, Sheryn Buckingham; two brothers, Gary (Veronica) Bowers and Jason (Stefanie) Bowers; beloved nephews, Aaron Buckingham, Shane Bowers, Kyler Bowers, Logan Bowers, Benjamin Bowers, Isaiah Koroma and Xavier Koroma. In addition, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Thank you to all who valued his incredible worth. May God’s arms provide comfort to us all.
Funeral services will be held today from the Smyrna Baptist Church, Main St., Smyrna, NY, followed by interment in the North Norwich Cemetery.
