NEW BERLIN – James H. Allen, 68, of Port Orange, FL and formerly of New Berlin, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013. He was born to the late William W. Allen and Doris Allen Fletcher on June 16, 1944.
Jim was loved by his family and friends and known for his hard work and most of all his great humor.
James is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Allen; his children, Shelly, James, Cheryl and Scott; a stepson, Ryan Edwards; brothers Robert and Judy Hand, Micheal and Joan Allen, Rev. William and Karla Allen, Carl and Jany Allen, and Gerald Allen and Forrest Fletcher; and sisters Judy Allen Bliss and Linda and Brian Webb. Several grandchildren, aunts, uncles, neices, nephews and cousins also survive.
Jim was predeceased by a brother, Wallace Allen, in 2000.
At the request of Mr. Allen there will be no funeral services. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the New Berlin cemetary, Rev. William Allen officiating.
