Anthony F. Marino, 55, of Bridgewater and formerly of Norwich, died March 16, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.
He was born May 1, 1957, in Norwich, a son of Leonardo and Julia (Famolaro) Marino. He received his education in Norwich schools. Anthony was united in marriage with Sharon McGurk in 1996 in New Hartford.
Anthony enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR racing. He was happiest when spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his mother, Julia; a son, Anthony Marino and his wife, Cherice, and two daughters, Lauren Malane and her husband, Keith, and Brichelle Parkin and her husband, Duane; stepchildren Michelle, Lori, William and Daniel McGurk; seventeen grandchildren; three brothers, four sisters, three brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law; and countless nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father in August 2011.
His funeral was held at noon on Tuesday, March 19 at the Dimbleby, Friedel, Williams & Edmunds Funeral Home at 365 W. Main Street in West Winfield. An hour of visitation preceded the service.
