MALTA – Raymond T. Vinal Sr., 63, of Rte 9 died Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 at St. Mary’s Hospital. Born and educated in Norwich, he was the son of the late Horace and Juanita Ferguson Vinal.
Ray was retired from Sheffields Products in Norwich after 26 years of service.
He is survived by his loving companion Theresa Muscatiello Riberdy, his children Raymond Vinal Jr. of Deposit, Jeff Vinal of Windsor, Sabrina Vinal of North Carolina, David Armondi of Norwich, Renee Barrows of St. Augustine, FL, Teddy Vinal Sr., Dianna Vinal and Chris Vinal all of Norwich and his stepchildren Dawn Charbonneau of Schaghticoke and Dean Charbonneau (Lisa) of Clifton Park. He is brother of Sally Coles of Norwich, Pat Newell of Greene, Jerry Vinal of Sidney, John Vinal of Norwich, the late Andrew and Sue Vinal. Several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte. 32), Waterford. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
