TRENTON, N.J. – Colleen Marie Chesney passed away on Jan. 15, 2013 at the age of 45, losing her battle with cancer. Born on April 17, 1967, Colleen originated from Trenton, New Jersey and resided mainly in upstate New York.
Colleen is lovingly remembered by: her Mother Kathleen Chesney, grandmother Joyce McCormack, her children Meghan Chesney and her partner Autumn Rumsey, Melissa Chesney, her siblings Laura Abbasi and her husband Mohammad, Charles Chesney and his wife Joy, her grandson Isaac Rumsey-Mattern, as well as aunts, uncles, several cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Colleen enjoyed time with friends and family, telling jokes, laughing, music, dancing, and travel. She acted as a caring and candid mentor to all she encountered. Colleen’s sense of humor was unmatched and her strong willed spirit can be seen today through both of her resilient daughters. Colleen’s pride and beauty were easily seen by anyone who was blessed to have her in their life.
The visitation will be held at noon on Saturday at the Mullen Funeral Home, 537 S. Olden Ave., Trenton NJ 08629. A 1 p.m. memorial service will follow at the same location.
