HAMILTON – Frederick C. Jenne, 81, of River Road, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Crouse Community Center in Morrisville.
He was born May 29, 1931 in Morrisville, a son of Merton and Kathleen Knefley Jenne. He was a graduate of Earlville High School and attended the Utica School of Commerce. Fred was a dairy farmer most of his life and in later years he raised and showed goats until his retirement in 1988. He also provided transportation for his Amish neighbors whenever it was needed.
Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Mary Louise and Donald Turner of Earlville; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, George Joseph, Albert and Gordon Jenne; and sisters, Margaret McDole and Edith Brown.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville.
Interment will be in the Earlville Cemetery.
