SHERBURNE – John N. Post, 64, of Maltzan-Sheridan Rd., passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 at UHS/Chenango Memorial Hospital RHCF, Norwich,
He was born Sept. 22, 1948 in Sherburne, a son of the late Nelson and Dorothy Hill Post and received his education in Sherburne schools. John was a dairy farmer on the family farm his entire life. He was an outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting.
Surviving are his companion of over 45 years, Louella V. Nelson; a sister, Eunice Collins of Sherburne; brothers and sisters-in-law, Harold and Shirley Post, Lawrence and Marcia Post, al of Sherburne; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Spring interment will be in the Scribner Cemetery, New Berlin.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m. prior to the service.
