He enjoyed spending many summers at Indian Lake in the Adirondacks with his family. Bob and Jerri spent several winters in Dunedin, Florida where they made many new friends and rekindled old friendships. He was also a member in good standing of the American Legion Winnek Post #396 in Geneva.

Caputo of Norwich, a nurse at the New York State Veterans Home in Oxford, his son Jeffrey Robert Gaylord an attorney in New York City, and his wife Cindy of Chatham, N.J., his sisters Gretchen Griffin of Schenectady and Margaret Ann Smith of Yuma, AZ.
