NORWICH – Shirley E. (Miller) Lanfair, 73, passed away at Fox Hospital on Friday, Nov. 2, 2012. She was born in Unadilla, the daughter of the late David and Elva (Head) Miller.
She was happily married to Glenn Lanfair for over 56 years. Shirley was a hard worker at the Norwich Shoe Factory and at Chase Memorial Nursing Home. Shirley was a great woman and was the kind of lady who would do anything for anyone in need of help.
She is survived by her husband, Glenn, her daughter Glenda (Wayne), her sons, David, Glenn Jr. (Julie), Brian, (Cathy), James (Deb) and Gerald. Shirley is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, two sisters, Joyce (Curt) and Carolyn (Ken), and a brother, Art (Florence). She is predeceased by a daughter, Deborah and brothers Fred and Clifford and a sister Odessa.
t was Shirley’s’ request that no funeral services or calling hours be held. It is requested that donations be made in memory of Shirley to Chase Memorial Nursing Home, One Terrace Heights, P.O.Box 250. New Berlin, NY 13411.
