Frank Manwarren


OXFORD – Memorial services for Frank Earl Manwarren, 61, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the home of Shirley and Robert Wright, 376 Turner St., Oxford.
Frank passed away Jan. 5, 2007 in Ft. Sill, Okla.
Frank Earl Manwarren was born on Dec. 2, 1945 in Oxford. He was raised by his grandmother Augusta (Gussie) Manwarren. He enjoyed participating in activities such as building boat models, fishing, and playing pool with his family. Frank worked various jobs in his lifetime such as a pressman for the Daily News, Jacksonville, N.C., but the job he enjoyed most was distributing phone books all over the east coast where he met and subsequently married his lovely wife, Deborah Jaqueth on July 3, 2002.
He is survived by his wife Deborah of Ft. Sill, Okla.; two sons, Robert and Bruce Manwarren; three daughters, Wendy, Margie and Mandy Manwarren; three step children, Amanda, Zachary and Joshua Wood; 11 grandchildren; his brother Leroy and Star Wadsworth of Oxford, brother Davis and Diane Wadsworth of Oxford, sister Shirley and Robert Wright of Oxford, sister Alice and Lawrence Murray of Norwich, brother Frances Jr. and Diane Wadsworth of Vestal, sister Patricia and Dennis Betsinger of Norwich and sister Linda and Steven Burdick of Norwich.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Burial will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Riverview Cemetery, Oxford.
Local arrangements are under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home, Lawton, Okla.
