Robert Timm


SOUTH OTSELIC – Robert W. Timm, 59, of South Otselic, passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at his home.
Bob was born on Feb. 21, 1953 in Norwalk, CT, the son of Frederick and Rosa Aigner Timm. He grew up in Bethel, CT and was a graduate of the Bethel High School. He furthered his education by attending technical school where he earned his electrician’s certificate. In the early 1980s Bob moved to the South Otselic area and purchased what is now called Harvest Hill Farm. His knowledge in the electrical field was well known in the area and he was currently employed by SUNY Upstate Medical University as thier chief electrician.
Bob is survived by his mother Rosa Timm of Bethel, CT; his daughter Mellisa (Missi) Blower and husband Mark and their children Michael and Matthew; his sister Therese Slesinsky and husband Ben of Bethel, CT; his brothers, Ronald Timm of Bethel, CT, Lawrence Timm and wife Jenefer of ME and Allen Timm and wife Karen of Greenwood, ME. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews Jonathen, Travis, Jessica, Tara, Alicia, Aaron, Page, Mathew and great nieces and nephews Ellex, Kelton, Silas, Alden and Cole as well as his constant canine companions Hank, Jewels and Jasmine.
A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the Beaver Meadow Christian Church. The Rev. Mitch Mullenax, Pastor, will officiate.
There will be no calling hours.
Following the service family and friends are invited to Bob’s home on Grace Brown Lane, just off of Stage Road for a reception.
