OXFORD – An interment of ashes with military honors will be held on Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery, Norwich for Staff Sergeant Daniel John Ohl (WWII Marine) of Oxford, who passed away on Jan. 26, 2012.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Adeline, his first wife, Theresa Prusko and his son, Daniel John Ohl, Jr. He is survived by his wife, Frances Knapp Ohl; daughter Yvette Payne (Fred) and daughter Julie Degroat (David) son, Stephen E. (Stella) Ohl; son, Thomas Ohl; daughter, Jean Ohl and Wayne Dennis; daughter, Yvette Ohl; son, Nicholas Ohl; son, Scott Ohl; son, Bob Rosa (Elissa); son, Thomas Rosa(Laurie); daughter, Dianna Rosa. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
