NORWICH – Dayton A. Dunn, 59, of Norwich, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, Aug. 7, 2012 at her home.
Dayton was born on Sept. 27, 1952 in Coral Gables, Fla., the daughter of Oscar and Henrietta Zimmer Lea. She grew up in New Orleans where she attended the local schools.
On Sept. 5, 1970 in Norwich, she married Edwin Dunn. Over the years Dayton and her husband have made their homes in Norwich and New Orleans. While living in New Orleans she had worked as a cashier for Greg’s Market.
Dayton is survived by her husband Edwin Dunn of Norwich; her son Christopher Dunn also of Norwich; 4 grandchildren; and her sister Joan Patrick and her husband Yancey of New Orleans.
Private services for Dayton will be held at the convenience of the family and interment will be in the North Norwich Cemetery.
