GUILFORD – Janet A. Sandell, 72, of Guilford, passed away peacefully Saturday evening, July 21, 2012 at Chenango Memorial Hospital, Norwich.
She was born Aug. 3, 1939 in Lyons, South Dakota. On May 4, 1962 she married Robert W. Sandell in Minnesota. Janet and her family have been Guilford residents since 1969.
Janet is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert Sandell; four loving and devoted sons: Kevin, Keith, Kraig and Kyle Sandell; two brothers James and Robert Oyen; and two loving grandchildren Joshua and Katie Sandell.
Friends are invited to call from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the C.H. Landers Chapel 21 Main Street Sidney. Funeral services will follow at noon. Burial will follow in the Sunset Hill Cemetery Guilford.
