EARLVILLE/WEST WINFIELD – Donald G. Price, 40, passed away peacefully, lovingly attended by angels in Norwich, on May 12, 2012 after a year-long battle with brain cancer.
He was born Aug. 28, 1971 in Herkimer, a son of George and Marjorie Doremus Price and was a graduate of Mount Markham High School. He was a mechanical maintenance engineer at Golden Artist Colors Inc. in Columbus.
Donald is survived by family and friends in both the Mohawk and Chenango Valleys, including his beloved children, Kaitlyn Billings, Mariah and Calvin Price; his companion Christal Dougherty and her children, Ivanna and Ryan; his mother, Marjorie Creaser; his father, George Price and step-mother Marilyn; sister, Georgia (Mark) Hecker; brothers, Steven (Norman) and Eric (Deborah); as well as several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Donald’s life will take place at 11 a.m. Sunday from the Crossroads Community Church, 351 State Hwy. 12B, Sherburne.
Contributions in his memory may be made to the Donald Price Outreach Memorial, c/o Crossroads Community Church.
Donald’s family would like to express their appreciation to the staff at Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center and Chenango County Hospice for their heartfelt and compassionate care. Also a special thanks to Donald’s colleagues at Golden Artist Colors and the many friends who blessed his life.
