Wilson Manwarren


SOUTH PLYMOUTH – Wilson A. (Bugsy) Manwarren, 70, of South Plymouth, passed away unexpectedly Sunday evening, April 1, 2012 at the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
The son of Arley and Margaret Brazee Manwarren, Bugsy was born on June 20, 1941 in Norwich. A resident of the area all of his life he had worked for Crane Silo, Gordy’s Construction and for many years was a self-employed wood cutter.
Bugsy is survived by his companion of over 40 years, Ellen Carpenter of South Plymouth; his children Dale Manwarren of Norwich, Stacy Manwarren and companion Jeff Franklin of Preston and Eric Manwarren of South Plymouth; his sisters: Gloria (Floyd) Fox of South Otselic, Shirley (Bob) Collar of Sherburne, Sandra (Ralph) Kennedy of Oxford; his brothers: Clarence (Dawn) Manwarren of Oxford and Clayton Manwarren of Sherburne. Also surviving are his eight grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bugsy was predeceased by a grandson Eric Manwarren, and a brother Glenn Manwarren.
Memorial services for Bugsy will be held a the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are with the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home.
