SHERBURNE – Theresa M. Fowler, 72, of Sherburne, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at UHS/Chenango Memorial Hospital Residential Healthcare Facility, Norwich.
She was born April 8, 1939 in Rochester, a daughter of James and Rose Reynolds and received her education in local schools. Theresa married John Vennison, who predeceased her, and later married Lloyd Fowler, who died in 2001. Theresa’s life was devoted to making a loving home for her family. In earlier years, she had worked at the Children’s Hospital in Rochester, and also in farming and for a tannery.
Theresa was a member of the Faith Baptist Tabernacle in Sherburne.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Peggy Murphy of Durham, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Julia and Stephen Murphy of Durham, N.C. She also leaves many friends in the Sherburne area.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Faith Baptist Tabernacle, 8 Utica Rd., Sherburne, followed by interment in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
Friends are invited to call at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service.
