SEBRING, Fla. – Jean L. Green, age 68, of Sebring, Fla., passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012.
She was born Aug. 16, 1943 to Ernest and Margaret (Rogers) Andrews in Smithville Flats. She was a Secretary in Customer Service, member of Florida Avenue Baptist Church, and has been a resident of Highlands County since 1962, coming from Oxford.
She is survived by her husband – William M. Green, II of Sebring, FL; daughters – Penny Culp (Guy) of Sebring, FL and Dawn Lamarre (Shane) of Sebring, FL; Sons – Edwin “Skeeter” Cooper of Avon Park, FL and Brian Green (Jennifer) of Odessa, FL; Sister – Alice Hoyt of New York; Brothers – Paul Andrews of Arkansas, Earl Andrews of Oregon, and Leon Andrews of New York; Grandchildren – Heather, Shannan, Tyler, Matthew, Jacob, Kiera and Logan; Great Grandchild – Chance. She was also “Grandmama” to Christy, Jayden, Briley, Trish and Connor. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Brother – Amos, and her first Husband – Donald Cooper.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday at the Stephenson-Nelson Funeral Home, Sebring, Florida with Rev. John Girdley officiating. Family will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Florida Avenue Baptist Church Children’s Fund.
