HAMILTON – Patricia G. “Pat” Dow, 70, of Hamilton, passed away at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012.
She was born April 18, 1941 in Norwich, a daughter of Harold and Gladys Ratcliff Covell and was a graduate of Norwich High School. On June 22, 1974, Pat married Carroll V. “Jake” Dow in Weedsport. He predeceased her on Nov. 11, 2009. Pat was the building supervisor at the Community Memorial Hospital Family Health Center in Hamilton until her retirement.
Surviving are her children, William and Kimberly Gordon of Athens, AL; David Gordon of South Riding, VA; Elizabeth and Peter Clapp of New Market, AL; daughter-in-law, Michelle Gordon of AZ; step-children, David Dow and Joelyn Marcellus of Augusta; Carol Maxam of Vernon Center; Terry and Brenda Dow of Hamilton; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and William Kirkland of Norwich; a brother and a sister-in-law, Edwin Covell of CT, and Lynette Covell of OH; nine grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Gary Covell.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton.
Interment will be in the Madison Village Cemetery.
