OTSELIC – Herbert S. Robbins, 89, of Otselic, passed away Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at home. He was born in Otselic and was a heavy equipment operator.
Herb was a 57 year member of Local 545 Operating Engineers of Syracuse.
Surviving are his wife Margaret of Otselic; daughter Rebecca Ashton of Norwich; sister Rosemary Walrad of Otselic; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by sons Edward and Stephen Robbins.
Services will be Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home, DeRuyter. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Otselic.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
