Frank Myers


OXFORD – Frank A. Myers, 76, of Oxford, formerly of Syracuse, passed away at the New York State Veterans’ Home on Monday, Dec. 11, 2006.  He was born on Sept. 12, 19930 in Oxford the son of the late Richard and Mable (Wilcox) Myers.
He is survived by his sister, Mariba Ford of McDonough; his brother in law, Frank Maroney of Searsmont, ME; his nieces and nephews, Ivon R. Ford III and his wife Patricia of McDonough, Patricia Ford of Croghan, Michael Maroney, Thomas Maroney, and Francine Blower. Several great nieces and great nephews also survive. His brothers, Edward Myers, Earl Myers and his sister Irene Maroney, predeceased him.
He attended Oxford Academy and Central School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952. He had worked at VanDuyn Nursing Home in Syracuse for many years.
 Funeral and committal services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford with the Rev. Philip Thorick, pastor of the Oxford United Methodist Church, officiating.
 Arrangements have been entrusted to the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford.
