NORWICH – Lois J. Lobdell, 71, of Norwich, passed away Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, in the Norwich Rehabilitation and Nursing Center of Norwich.
Lois was born in New Jersey on May 15, 1940, the daughter of George and Ida Willey. At an early age she moved with her family to the Chenango and Otsego County area, where she attended school in Gilbertsville. Over the years Lois has made her home in California and Oregon and for the past 40 years has made her home in Norwich. While living in Norwich, she had worked for the former Crown Jewelry Store.
Lois is survived by her children Kenneth Ray and his wife Carol of Ashland, KY and Alice Wilson and her husband Richard of Bandon, OR, her sister Margaret Wheating of Oklahoma City and her brothers George and John Willey both of Norwich. Also surviving are her grandchildren Ryan, Asa, Jasmine, Kenneth and Klayton and her step-grandchildren Kent, Andrew and Niamh along with eight great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
At the family’s request there will be no formal services.
