Krista Bartle


OXFORD – Krista L. Bartle, 31, of Oxford passed away unexpectedly on October 6, 2011 at her home.
She was born on April 6, 1980 in Norwich, daughter of Neil and Linda (Martin) Bartle.
She is survived by her father and mother, Neil and Linda Bartle; her brother, Jared Bartle and his fiancé Jen Clark; her sister, Ashley Bartle and boyfriend Mike Mancini; her uncles and aunts, David and Sue Martin and Brian and Linda Bartle; her cousins, Heather and Mike Ferrarese and daughter Jill, Tom Bartle, Robert Martin, and Julia Martin and fiancé Tim Miller and son Baylen, and her special friend, Mike LaCroce.
Krista was a graduate of Oxford Academy and Central School and attended SUNY Albany, graduating from SUNY Cortland. She was also a graduate of Leadership Chenango. She worked at Blueox Corp. in Oxford and was currently their systems analyst. She coached field hockey for both high school as well as the Oxford Youth Sports Program. She loved animals, especially her cats Bling and Samantha, her new puppy Olivia, and her dog Anastacia. She was an avid walker and active volunteer for Relay for Life. She assisted on many Oxford Lions Club activities. She especially enjoyed Halloween and had started to decorate her home already.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Oxford United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Allyson Ellis, pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford.
Friends may call at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.
