NORWICH – Funeral services for Josephine DiNoto were held on Monday, Dec. 4, 2006 at the Church of St. Bartholomew. Rev. Lester Smith, pastor of St. Malachy’s Church in Sherburne, celebrated a Mass of Christian Burial.
Mass began with Mrs. DiNoto’s children, Frank, Robert, James and Josephine placing the baptismal pall upon the casket. Her grandchildren, Deborah DiNoto, Christine Bairos and Kathy Benson, gave the readings. The offertory gifts were presented by Frank, Robert, James and Josephine and Frank, Josephine and Christine spoke in remembrance. Marie DiNoto served as Eucharistic Minister while Susan Ticknor was the organist and Bertha DeFonzo the soloist.
Burial took place in St. Paul’s Cemetery with Father Smith offering the committal prayers. Paul Sastri and John Bairos served as casket bearers.
The arrangements were by the Wilson Funeral Home.
