William Stadeleman


WILLIAM STADELMAN
PRESTON – William L. Stadelman, 75, of Preston, and Huger, S.C., formerly of Union Beach, N.J., passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 27, 2006 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City.  He was born on Oct. 1, 1931 in Newark, N.J., the son of the late William G. and Louise (Nason) Stadelman. He married the former Joan Murray in Saint Antonius Church in Newark, N.J. in 1954.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joan of Preston and Huger; his son, William Stadelman of Huger, S.C.; his daughter and son in law, Dawn and Ed Heavey of Huger; his sister and brother in law, Faith and Michael Folchetti of New Jersey and his grandchildren, William Stadelman, Britane Stadelman, Patrick Heavey and Erin Heavey.
He was a veteran of the Korean War.  He operated B & B Fence Erectors for many years.  He then worked for the Union Beach School for several years.  He was a dedicated family man, who loved his children and grandchildren.  He loved his summer home in Preston and enjoyed hunting and fishing there.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph’s Church, Oxford with the Rev. Thomas I. Ward celebrating the Mass.  A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, Dec. 2, at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, Highway 36 North, Union Beach, N.J.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford.
