SHERBURNE – Lynn J. Blair, 76, of Rundell Road, passed away Sunday, March 27, 2011 at his home.
He was born May 3, 1935 in Earlville, a son of the late Lynn and Clair Beech Blair and received his education in Earlville schools. Lynn had worked for the Village of Earlville, the Norwich Shoe Company, T.A.C.O. in Sherburne, and VonBank’s Collision in Earlville. Lynn had a heart of gold and was always there to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed driving and running errands for his family and friends. He loved knitting and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was an associate member of the American Legion Post #876 in Sherburne.
Surviving are his sister and brother-in-law, Pattie Ann and John Griffith of Durhamville; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard C. and Joan D. Blair of Verona; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Connie VonBank.
Memorial Services will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 3 Preston St., Earlville.
Interment will be in the Earlville Cemetery at a later date.
Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. prior to the service.
