NORWICH – August G. Noldan, 69, of Canastota, passed away at home with his family by his side. 
Born in Norwich, he was the son of the late August and Lottie Zack Noldan. He owned Noldan Tool & Die in East Syracuse and was a marine surveyor. He was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Fayetteville, a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, and an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.   
Survivors: his wife of 42 years, Kathy Fredenburg Noldan; his daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Jim Poore; his sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Ed Ritter of Florida; his grandchildren, Abbey and Joey Poore; and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 400 Salt Springs Rd., Fayetteville.
