NORTH NORWICH – Stephen D. Grant, 57, of North Norwich, passed away Sunday morning, Feb. 27, 2011, in the Upstate Medical Center of Syracuse.
Steve was born in Suffern in February of 1953 the son of Robert and Rose (Haidinger) Grant and attended the Manchester Regional High School in Halden, N.J. He had made his home in the Norwich area for over 30 years and had been employed by Victory Markets in the refrigeration dept. Steve had also worked for period of three years for the Drescher Food Distributors in Syracuse.
Steve was a good hearted, bubbly guy who could make you laugh and enjoyed his hunting and fishing.
Steve is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Stephanie and Nathan Emond of Factoryville, Pa., his former wife Carol Grant of North Norwich, his brothers Robert Grant of Vernon, N.J. and Jack Grant. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Services for Steve will be private and at the convenience of the family.
