NORWICH – Marcene Keith Law Sr. died at age 57, at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, from complications of cancer.
He was employed by SUNY Upstate Medical University as a security guard at the time of his death. He had previously been employed as a Prison Guard and a warehouse worker for Victory Markets. He was especially gifted musically and played a variety of self taught instruments.
He is survived by his two sons and their families. Marcene Law Jr. (Loretta Willard) and Wade Law (Rachel), all of Norwich. He is also survived by four sisters and four brothers. Mary Graham, Laura Fink, Carol Hoffman, Edward Law all of Norwich, Myra Reeves of Baldwinsville, Larry Law of Constable, Lauren Law of Tennessee, and Richard Law of Sherburne. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was predeceased by both his parents, Retha Blyman and Glenn Law, he was also predeceased by several brothers.
He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Internment will be at the discretion of the family. A memorial service to celebrate his life is planned for March, 2011 in Norwich.
