Patricia Snyder


HAMILTON – Patricia A. Snyder, 72, of Wylie St., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2011 at Community Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, Hamilton.
She was born Feb. 20, 1938 in Norwich, a daughter of the late Walter and Ella Jaquay Johnson and was a graduate of Earlville High School. On Dec. 31, 1974, Patricia married Howard W. Snyder, Sr. in Earlville. He predeceased her on July 5, 2009. Pat was an accomplished seamstress who was a vendor at the Hamilton Farmers Market for over 28 years as Pat‚s Pillows-N-Things. She was a charter member of the local chapter of T.O.P.S. (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) recently celebrating 25 years. She was a communicant of St. Mary‚s Church in Hamilton.
Surviving are her children, David and Donna Snyder of Hamilton; Ken and Cathy Tredway of North Syracuse; grandchildren Rachel and Alan Lock of Charlotte, NC; Dylan Tredway of North Syracuse; Amber Nelson of Chicago, IL; Patrick and Emily Nelson of Hamilton; several step-children and their families; several cousins, including a special cousin, Kathy Barrett of Hamilton. She was predeceased by three sons, Keith, Scott and Russell “Rusty”; and a brother, Donald Johnson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, at St. Mary’s Church, Hamilton.
Friends are invited to call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 25 Broad St., Hamilton.
Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Hamilton in the spring.
