NORWICH – Janice K. Wright, 77, of Norwich, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 2, 2011, in the Upstate Medical Center of Syracuse.
Janice was born in Utica, the daughter of Victor Per Lee and Ruth (Coleman) Kenyon in June of 1933. A resident of Norwich for many years, she had worked a brief period of time for I.L. Richer in Sherburne. Her main employment for a perod of 30 years was with the Chenango County Public Health Dept. from which she retired.
Janice is survived by her daughters Wendy Wright of Norwich and Jamie Moore of South Plymouth, her step-daughters Nicki Conroy, Town of Union and Beth Lynne Wright of Somerset, N.J., her grandchildren Logan and Noah Bufalini, Dustin Moore, Edwin, Andrew, Elise, Susan, Benjamin and Daniel Conroy. Also surviving is her sister Helen Pasachnik of Hamilton as well as nieces and nephews.
Janice was predeceased by her husband of 39 years James Wright on March 3, 2009.
Funeral services for Janice will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Jeremy Stopford will officiate. Interment will be at a later date in the Mt. Hope Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
