Patricia Muller

GREENE – Patricia A. Muller, 65, of Greene passed away Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2006 at her home. Her family mourns the passing of a wonderful wife, mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend.
She leaves her loving husband of 45 years, James F. Muller; her son and daughter in law James A. and Rebecca Muller and their children James and Allison of Stewartstown, Pennsylvania; her son and daughter in law Steven and Julie Muller and their children Wilson and Mary Kathryn of Alabaster, Alabama; and her daughter and son in law Machele and Michael Lynch and their children Catherine, Elizabeth, and Joseph, of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania. She also leaves two sisters, Shirley Brookins of Boiling Springs Lake, North Carolina, and Sandy Trifaro of Norwich and many nieces and nephews.
She was born Nov. 4, 1941 in East Meredith, daughter of Arthur and Beulah Wood. She spent most of her childhood in the South New Berlin area. After her marriage to James Muller they settled in Greene where she was an employee of the Greene Central School for over 22 years. While an employee of the school she touched many children’s lives by her love and generosity. Pat was also very active in the Catholic Church where over the years she taught religious education, participated in bible school and rosary groups. She became a third order Franciscan dedicated to helping the poor. She enjoyed sewing and gardening but mostly she enjoyed spoiling grandchildren. She is famous for her many letters and cards that she sent to people over the years.
The family received friends during calling hours at Kennedy Funeral Home on Friday, Nov 10, and celebrated a Mass of Christian Burial according to the Latin rite on Saturday, Nov. 11 at St. John the Evangelist Church in Binghamton. Burial followed in St. Paul’s Catholic Cemetery in Norwich. The family would like to thank the entire Greene community for the out pouring of love and support that helped us through this difficult time. Donations in Pat’s memory may be made to the Greene Emergency Squad or Church of the Immaculate Conception in Greene.
