GREENE – Doris Ann Christian, 75, went to join her mother and father, Floyd and Ethel Bonner, in heaven on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2010. 
She was also predeceased by a brother, Dean Bonner. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Myrna and David Jones; companion, Gerald Flanagan; two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Rhonda, Scott and April Christian; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many friends. 
Doris was an avid golfer. She was Secretary of the Greene Garden Club and hosted the “Between Friendz Christmas Craft Show” for the last ten years. She was a life long member of McDonough United Methodist Church. Her home and her gardens were her pride and joy.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Root Funeral Home with Rev. Amy Gregory, pastor of First United Methodist Church, Greene, officiating.
Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greene Garden Club, 13 Davidson St., Greene, NY 13778.
