Charlotte Lee


NORWICH – Charlotte T. Wnuk Lee, 93, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 25, 2010 at her home.
Born Aug. 30, 1917 in Westbury, Charlotte was the daughter of Kostanty and Veronica (Koziol) Wnuk. She attended school in Westbury and received her LPN license in Miami, Florida. She was active in PTA at St. Paul’s School, the Democratic Club and the Board of Elections in Chenango County.
On Jan. 8, 1952, Charlotte married David (Fuzzy) E. Lee of Norwich, who predeceased her on April 8, 2007. She is survived by a daughter, Karin Muserallo and her husband, James, of Thomasville, Ga., a son, Robert Lee and his wife, Joanne, of Oxford and a daughter, Joan Morean, of Madison, Ala.; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Delafchell and Stella Wnuk.
Charlotte enjoyed spending time with her family in Norwich, Canada, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. Her hobbies included fishing, cooking and gardening.
A Mass of Resurrection for Charlotte will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at St. Paul’s Church. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Wilson Funeral Home on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Charlotte was a cancer survivor for over 25 years. Contributions in her memory may be made to: Friends of Bassett Hospital, 1 Atwell Road, Cooperstown, NY 13326.
