Royce Burch


POOLVILLE – Royce Burch, of Poolville, passed away peacefully at his daughter’s home on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010, after a short battle with cancer.
Royce was born on Oct. 28, 1946 in Hamilton, where he attended HHS and was captain of the varsity football team. After graduation, he enlisted in the Marine Corps. He served proudly and was a disabled veteran. Royce was a caring and dedicated employee for over 40 years at the Mohawk Valley Psychiatric Center.
He is survived by Laura LeRoy Burch of Monson, Maine and their daughters, Shannon Terwilliger (Tom) of Cortland and Mariah Romaninsky (Paul) of Newark, Del.; three grandchildren, Asa and Maude Terwilliger and Arlo Romaninsky; several nieces and nephews and a sister, Josephine Baker (Phil) of Oneida.
There will be a memorial celebration of his life at the Poolville Community Center on Saturday at 1 p.m.
