NORFOLK – Ms. Marika E. Papp, 46, of 22 North Main St., passed away on Sunday evening, Oct. 31, 2010 at her home, after a courageous year long battle with cancer. 
Marika was born March 17, 1964 in Norwich. She worked for over 20 years in the Utica area construction business as a roofer. She was also a licensed asbestos handler. She was a member of the Eagles Club in Daytona, Florida. Marika was an avid cat lover and truly enjoyed Halloween. She also loved to watch spooky movies, bon fires, camping and fishing. Marika was an artist, who did wood burning and various drawings. She truly loved being with the “Woods People.”
She is survived by her life partner of five years, Diane Richards; two sisters, Erzsebet Papp-Curtis of Newark Valley and Margit Papp of Massena.
Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Donaldson Funeral Home, Massena, where funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. with Rev. James E. Barnes, II, officiating.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Area 2, Massena.
