GREENE – Ethel J. Fors, 78, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010. 
She was predecased by her husband, David F. Fors, Sr. and her parents Earl and Bessie Peterson. Ethel is survived by son and daughter-in-law David F. Fors Jr. and Val of Greene; daughter and son-in-law Lorrie and Johnny Letchworth, of Greenville, N.C.; seven grandchildren: April, Amy, Erin, David, Tyler, Lee and Jualina; seven great-greadchildren; and many family and friends. 
Funeral and committal services will be held 7 p.m. Friday at Root Funeral Home, 23 North Chenango Street, Greene. Burial will be in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene. Friends may call Friday from 6 p.m. until the time of service at Root Funeral Home. 
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chenango County, 21 Hayes St., Norwich, NY 13815.
