Andrea Lynn Armitage


NORWICH – Andrea Lynn Armitage, 24, of Norwich, went to be with our Heavenly Father on July 7, 2010, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in Sept. of 1985, in Ashland, KY, Andrea was a graduate of Norwich High School, class of 2004. She enjoyed reading, music, spending time with friends, family, and her beloved pets: Zeppelin, Bear, Lucy and Mick Jagger. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of North Norwich. Andrea will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her loyalty to her friends and family, her sense of humor, and her love of life.
Andrea is survived by her mother, Kathleen Armitage of Norwich; her father, Michael Armitage of Sidney; loving sister, Michelle Armitage of Norwich; companion, Kurt Brauer of Plymouth; grandmother, June Tuttle of North Norwich; Richard Tuttle of North Norwich. Also surviving are aunts and uncles: William and Chizu Horton of Oneida, Kelley Horton of Cooperstown, Patrick Horton (Becky Cruickshank) of Homer, Kimberlee Horton of Hamilton, Daniel Horton (Jacki Brunschmid) of Oxford, Michael Thompson of Sidney, Robert Armitage of Dayton Beach, FL; cousins: Yuki (Christopher) Herrera, Diane Horton, Erik Roberts, Sara Roberts, Kristyn Roberts, Craig Roberts, Jr., Thomas Horton, Lilie Horton, Thomas Thompson, Caryn Spinella, and Susan Marchant; and many cherished friends.
A Celebration of Life for Andrea will be held on Tues., July 13 at 7 p.m. from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Richard Anderson, Pastor of the North Norwich Methodist Church, will officiate. Friends are invited to call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 to 7 p.m.
