Patricia Lee Rothwell

Patricia Lee Rothwell, 82, died April 20, 2026. She was born May 11, 1943, in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and resided in South Plymouth, New York.
Patricia grew up and attended school in Sherburne, New York. Throughout her life, she was known for a steady determination and a willingness to do what needed to be done—qualities that carried her through both everyday responsibilities and life’s harder seasons.
Patricia worked for Simmonds Precision for many years and later for the Mid York Press.
She raised a family of five children as a single mom, giving her time and energy with a generosity that never asked for recognition. Family was everything to her, and that devotion shaped the way she lived and the legacy she leaves behind.
In her personal time, Patricia loved to fish and hunt. She also took pride in caring for her horses and in tending to her county homestead—work that required patience, strength, and daily commitment, and which she met with quiet resilience.
Patricia is survived by her children: David Rothwell, Candy Adamow, Robert Rothwell (Pamela), Stephan Rothwell, and Stephanie Ashcraft (Travis); her grandchildren: Erica Schott (David), Tiffany Byrne, Spencer Adamow, Madyson Adamow, Aaron Bishop (Raven), Joseph Bishop (Crystal), Morgan Fairbanks (Jacob), Marissa Ballin, Kayla Rothwell, Michael Rothwell, Bryce Fairbanks (Vanessa), Amanda Rothwell, and Wyatt Ashcraft (Kate); her great-grandchildren: Kiran, Leif, Mara, Scotty, Kamden, Bowen, Adelaide, Aerieanna, Charlie, Oaklyn, Cambryn, Axton, Hazel, Wyliegh, Wesley, Collin, Jordyn, Jayden, Cambrie, Aalyha, Damien; great-great grandchild: Allen Lee; and her siblings: William LaCoe (Lee), Barbara LaCoe, and Cheryl Satterlee (Herb).
