Angelina Natoli


NORWICH – Angelina N. “Angie” Natoli, 79, of Adelaide Street, passed away on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City.
Born in Norwich on March 25, 1931, Angie was the daughter of Felix and Mary (Maiurano) Natoli. She graduated from Norwich High School with the Class of 1949 and began working at the former Carol Ann Shop on South Broad Street in retail clothing sales and later as a buyer and bridal consultant. She worked there for over twenty years.  When the Carol Ann closed, Angie worked in the health and beauty department of the Victory Markets Warehouse, retiring in 1992 when Victory closed.
Angie was an active member of St. Bartholomew’s Church, involved in many church activities including spaghetti suppers and baking for funeral luncheons. She loved baking and helping friends in need.
Angie was devoted to her family. She is survived by her brother, Bartolo “Barney” Natoli and his wife, Jeanne, of Norwich; six nieces and nephews, Joseph A. (Anna) Natoli Jr., Michael A. (Cathy) Natoli, Sharon (Harvey) Sommer, John D. (Kim) Natoli, Thomas A. (Judy) Natoli and Steven G. (Lisa) Natoli; and a sister-in-law, Antoinette Natoli of Norwich.  Many great nieces and great nephews also survive.  She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph A. “Tony” Natoli.
A memorial Mass of Resurrection for Angie will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 28 at St. Bartholomew’s Church.  Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Friends are invited to call at the Wilson Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
