Mitchell J. Bernard, 73, of Oxford passed away on June 19, 2025.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Ruth (Cheeseman) Bernard.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Gross; sister, Carmen Mills; sister and brother-in-law, Karen (Rick) Reisinger; sister, Shirley McMullin; brother and sister-in-law, Rudy (Diane) Bernard; brother and sister-in-law, Doug (Tina) Bernard; many nieces and nephews; and the staff and residents of Preston Manor who took exceptional care of him for the last 21 years.
Mitch graduated from Greene Central Schools. He served his country in the Army from 1971 to 1973 and was stationed in Germany. He will greatly be missed by all of his sibling and friends. At long last Mitch is at peace and finally free of pain.
