Sharon K. Frank


Sharon K. Frank, 80, of Norwich, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 15, 2025 surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Born on November 4, 1944, in Utica, NY, Sharon was a daughter of the late Truman and Dorothy (Adams) Kellogg. Sharon grew up in North Norwich and attended school there until the sixth grade when she went on to Sherburne schools graduating in 1962. Shortly after, she began a lifelong career with the Norwich Pharmacal Company. Sharon continued her career with the company’s merger with Procter & Gamble, retiring in 2002. In 2003, Sharon returned to work at OSG and Norwich Pharmaceuticals officially retiring in 2009.
Sharon was a fashionista at heart and enjoyed her matching styles. Her craft room proved her amazing creativity and many talents, including a dried and silk floral business she ran for several years. Sharon enjoyed tending to her flower gardens and took great pleasure with her interior decorating projects. Most of all, Sharon loved her children, and her cherished grandchildren.
Sharon was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Norwich and was the treasurer of the Respect Life/Love Line committee.
On January 15, 1966, at St. Bartholomew’s Church, in Norwich, Sharon married her beloved husband, Thomas E. Frank, who predeceased her on April 2, 2010.
Sharon is survived by her children, Michelle (Brian) Seeley of Norwich, Thomas James (Sandra) Frank of Norwich, and Jennifer (Michael) Sammon of Marcellus, NY; grandchildren, Joshua Seeley, Rachel Seeley, Griffin Frank, Ryan Sammon, and Jack Sammon; significant other for the past seven years (2,734 days), John Alksnis; siblings, Larry (Pat) Kellogg, of Sherburne, Dick (Pat) Kellogg, of North Norwich, Debbie Phelan, of Earlville, and Phyllis (Rick) Braun, of Norwich; brother-in-law, Clifford (Elaine) Frank; sister-in-law, Carolyn Broderick; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Sharon will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Paul’s Church, 30 Pleasant Street, Norwich, where the Rev. Ralph A. Bove will officiate.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Wilson Funeral Home, 68 South Broad Street, Norwich, on Thursday, May 22, from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. prior to the visitation. Burial will be held at St. Paul’s Cemetery.
