Leroy (Lee) Wilson Gale (1940-2025) of Ormond Beach, Florida, previously of Norwich, New York, passed on to heaven on February 2, 2025, with family by his side.
On March 4, 1960, Lee married the love of his life Dorothy (Dottie) Jean (Parks) Gale. They were married one month shy of 65 years. This love created three children whom he loved deeply: Dianna (Christopher) Brown of Norwich, NY, Christine (John) Washington of Ormond Beach, FL, and Matthew Gale (deceased). He was loved by his grandchildren, Chelsea, Gabriel, Macauley, Josh, Jan, Alex, Carlie and his two great- grandchildren, Blair and Lillian.
Lee is survived by his wife, two daughters, and a sister, Kandase Burlingame. He was predeceased by his son Matthew Gale and sister Debra Miles.
Lee was an extremely caring man. He was born with the gift of gab! He loved to socialize with everyone and was always willing to share advice. He was a perfectionist with countless skills, ranging from cooking to carpentry and beyond.
Lee worked for C&U (Chenango Unadilla Telephone company)/ Contel for the majority of his career. When he retired, he and Dottie moved to Florida to enjoy the sunshine year round, live close to Christine, and enjoy fishing with his son Matt. For many years he gave kind, loving and compassionate care as primary care provider for Dottie.
