Mrs. Margaret Ann Davis Vize, age 90, passed away Wednesday May 8, 2024, at NHC of Sparta. She was a New York State native, Spencer, TN, resident and formerly resided in Pikeville, TN, born on January 8, 1934, to the late Rush O. and Olive N. Flanagan French.
Margaret loved to read, play cards, travel, and dine out. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and will be greatly missed by her loving family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, James E. Davis and David Vize; son James R. Davis; and daughter, Leslie Kozlowski.
Margaret is survived by her loving family, daughters: Shelly (Raymond) Coffey of Lebanon, TN, Nina Nesbitt of Spencer, TN and Laura Cosens of Pikeville, TN; brother, Gerald French of New York; grandchildren: Robert Schwager of Florida, Colin Nesbitt of Texas, Vanestia Jennings of Silver Point, TN, Chandell Murray of Nevada, Dana Holloway of Pikeville, TN and Renee Wooden of Pikeville, TN; and special friend Ann Olmstead. Several great-grandchildren and extended family also survive.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Behe Funeral Home Inc, Oxford, NY. A graveside funeral service officiated Pastor Richard Howard will take place on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 12:30 PM in the upper level of the Riverview Cemetery, Oxford, NY.
