Marlee-mae Gallo

NORWICH – Marlee-Mae Marie Gallo, six-month-old infant daughter of Savannah Collins and Robert Gallo Jr., unexpectedly went home to be with the angels on Saturday, May 22, 2010.
Born in Norwich in November of 2009, Marlee-Mae could light up a room with her happy personality, perpetual smile, and lovely big blue eyes that seemed to dwarf her little face. Although not very old, Marlee-Mae already had her own unique personality, was learning to talk in her own language, and was very much her own person. Though she loved all of her family, she was definitely daddy’s girl!
Marlee-Mae is survived by her parents, Savannah and Robert, of Norwich; her maternal grandmother, Lisa Collins of Sherburne; and paternal grandparents, June Landon of Norwich and Robert Gallo Sr. of New Berlin. Also surviving are sisters and brothers: Emily Barrows of Oxford, Gabrielle Linger of Norwich, Kadence Gallo of Oxford, Madaline Babcock of Norwich, Davin Gallo of Oxford, Ryker Babcock of Norwich, and Jacob Gallo of Oxford; her special cousin, Shawn Burke; special uncles Caleb Collins and Harry Donnelly; special aunts Si and Winnie; and family friend Scott Briadin of North Norwich. Many other aunts, uncles and cousins survive. Marlee-Mae was predeceased by her maternal grandfather, William “Bill” Collins.
Private funeral services for Marlee-Mae will be held from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home at the convenience of her family. There will be no calling hours. Interment will also be private and at the family’s convenience.
Marlee-Mae’s family would like to express their deep gratitude to their family and friends, members of the Lighthouse Community Church in Sherburne and New Life Church in Randallsville, and the staff at the Chenango Memorial Hospital in Norwich for all their efforts and support on behalf of Marlee and her family.
