SHERBURNE – Stella Mae Lane, 86, of Summit St., passed away Friday, May 14, 2010 at her home.
She was born Nov. 18, 1923 in South Otselic, a daughter of Joseph G. and Roby Eliza Brown Satterlee. She was a graduate of Sherburne High School in 1941. Stella had worked for TACO, the Mayville Pastry Shop and Classic Pharmaceuticals. She had also been an Avon representative most of her life.  She was a member of the Home Bureau and enjoyed crafts and knitting.
Surviving are her children, Sharon and Thomas May of Green Cove Springs, Fla.; Pamela Ashmall of North Tonawanda; Rex and Marcia Lane of Sherburne; Lucinda and David White of Adams, Mass.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice VanWagner, Vivian and Raymond Hull, all of Sherburne; Sussana and Robert Austin of Murray, Kent.; her grandchildren, Julie May, Jennifer and Otto Herrera, Pamela and James Spurrell, William Ashmall. Shannon Lane, Jaime and Nicholas Longo, Renee Wojeaszek, Sandy Maynard and Carol Maynard; 17 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In keeping with Stella’s wishes, services will be held at the convenience of her family with interment in West Hill Cemetery, Sherburne.
There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
